Hampson's brings on the (super) power... • Auctioneers of Classic Cars, Supercars, Competition Cars, Automobilia

The last couple of weekends have been full-on for Hampson, with our support for the Supercar Pageant at Oulton Park on June 28 and the inaugural Hampson’s Supercar Paddock at the Bolesworth International, presented by Al Shira’aa, on June 28/29 and July 5/6. And both events were a huge success… Read our two event reports below – and enjoy the videos!

SUPERCARS AT OULTON PARK

The Oulton Park Supercar Pageant is a well-established celebration of that most desirable form of motor car, but this was the first year Hampson’s has been title sponsor. A fantastic turnout of supercars made it to the Cheshire circuit and, not surprisingly, drew huge crowds.

Our Managing Director, Zach Hamilton, joined the host for a Q&A, exploring what makes a car worth chasing, and sharing fascinating insight into the world of collector car auctions. He then had a great catch-up with fellow speaker and YouTube legend Mark McCann, adding to the buzz and horsepower of the day.

We’ll be back at Oulton Park later this month, for our annual flagship sale of classic, performance and supercars on 27 July.

THE HAMPSON SUPERCAR PADDOCK AT BOLESWORTH INTERNATIONAL

The Bolesworth International is another well-established event – one which celebrates horsepower of a different type; it’s a world-class equestrian competition which combines international showjumping with an outstanding array of supporting attractions including thundering Super trucks and jaw-dropping motorbike stunt displays, in a full-throttle celebration of speed, style, and elite sport.. It’s a true lifestyle event, with the new Supercar Paddock taking things up yet another gear, with an incredible array of supercars and hypercars making their way to Bolesworth Castle.

From sleek Ferraris to the raw power of Lamborghinis, we were thrilled to deliver engineering excellence up close in the heart of Bolesworth International. The line-up even included a glorious 1908 Brasier! And they weren’t only on static display – a fine array of supercars and classics was also put through their paces in the showring!

The Hampson Supercar Paddock was a hit with visitors to the event and also and also with the supercar owners themselves, who thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to showcase their cherished machines in a stunning setting, complete with high-end VIP hospitality, boutique ‘pop-up’ shopping village and an enthusiastic crowd who were tremendously respectful of the priceless machines on show. The superb equestrian action was another highlight for the supercar owners, of course, as was the journey to and from the castle, on fabulous roads through the Cheshire countryside.

Formula One fans didn’t miss out either – the British Grand Prix was livestreamed on big screens in the hospitality area, enabling supercar owners to keep up with the action from Silverstone while being very well fed and watered, safe in the knowledge that their powerful motor cars were being showcased to perfection.

And there were prizes! Bolesworth International visitors voted for their favourite car each day for the People’s Choice, while daily awards were also given for Best Supercar, Best Classic and the Host’s favourite.

Hampson’s Managing Director, Zach Hamilton, was ebullient at the end of the final day: “Over 400 supercars and classics across both weekends – what an incredible turnout. Thank you to everyone who came, supported, and made it all happen.

From horsepower to hospitality, Bolesworth International 2025 truly delivered. I’m grateful to have been part of such a world-class event once again, and to bring a new and highly successful element. Now the challenge is how can we exceed this in 2026!”
